Draw a line of glue on the sides of the 14-inch plates stabbing upward. Pick up the remaining 48-inch plate and place it on the three boards, aligning the edges. Hammer nails into the 48-inch board where it meets the 14-inch board. Paint the wood and let dry for several hours, then apply another coat of paint.
